The thing that confuses me is out of all the old sales literature and such this so called "feature" is never mentioned. No one knew it would do this until 5 years or so ago when it started getting spread throughout the internet. I personally think it just happens to do it. Never intended.

Dang, 63 years old and I learned something new today.

My Massy 135 has front lift and rear hydrolic operated from the cast valve in front of seat with tube w o rings on both ends. The transmission pumps all the fluid from operating front lift into the rear housing which then pumps it out of the response control dip stick . Why , I wonder why would this happen. Thanks for you expert vids

WOW ! thanks, i have owned mine for over 10 years and had no idea about this feature. i always just raise my leg over the steering wheel to get off but will be using this method from now on.

Ford did this with the Model A Ford 1928-31.In many cities there was a rule on the books that the driver exit to the passenger(sidewalk) side of the car so the gearshift would do this to make it easier to move across.

Our 8N is about the only piece of equipment that has lasted and kept working on our 140 year old farm up here in upstate NY. Wonderful machine. So glad we have the Gingell family to help us keep them running.

I bought a set of your fenders for my 70 a couple of weeks ago, I got them back from being painted at the body shop and installed them on the tractor this afternoon. I just love them. I also bought the economy kit for the carb. That is my next chore.

What if the throw out bearing release fingers will not come forward enough to release it

A lot of the early Ford was not that easy and early Ford tractor killed a lot of good guys flipped over 😢 💔

I think I might’ve missed it sometimes when you I’ve seen more people tell you how many times to screw in the adjustments all the way and then back them off so many turns I didn’t know if if that is correct or if it’s something you shouldn’t do OK thank you again, I’m trying to help a friend out and he doesn’t think he’s getting enough fuel.
